Imam Suhaib Webb

Imam Suhaib Webb is a renowned American Muslim scholar and educator who converted to Islam in 1992. He holds a degree in Islamic Law from Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt, where he also served as head of the English Translation Department at Dar al-Ifta al-Masriyah as a Mufti. Imam Suhaib served as the Imam of the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center, the largest Islamic center in New England, and later as Resident Scholar at the Islamic Center of New York University. He is the founder of the Suhaib Webb Institute for Sacred Studies (SWISS), an online platform dedicated to teaching Islamic sciences. Named one of the "500 Most Influential Muslims in the World" in 2010, Imam Suhaib is known for advocating an American-style Islam and speaking out against religious extremism. His website won "Blog of the Year" at the 2009 Brass Crescent Awards, and he continues to inspire thousands through his accessible approach to Islamic teaching.
